Hi, I'm Jayne, a Therapist and Hypnotherapist based on The Wirral.  I offer a warm, friendly and professional space where you can feel heard, supported and understood. With over a decade of experience working with young people and adults, I have developed a compassionate, practical approach to supporting people through life's challenges.  I work with a range of issues including anxiety, trauma, ADHD, low confidence and unhelpful patterns that can leave you feeling stuck.

My approach combines counselling &  hypnotherapy to help you better understand what's going on beneath the surface, build resilience, and create positive, lasting change.  Hypnotherapy can be used alongside counselling as part of an integrative approach, or as a standalone therapy, depending on what feels most helpful to you. Whether you're looking to process difficult experiences, manage overwhelming thoughts, or move forward with greater confidence, therapy offers a safe space to explore things at your own pace.

I offer face-to-face, online, or telephone sessions, allowing you to choose the option that feels most comfortable and convenient.

I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and change - sometimes we just need the right support and space to unlock it.

Everyone faces challenges in life from time to time.  This is why I offer personalised sessions designed to help you overcome your obstacles and lead the life you desire.  Working from my therapy rooms, sessions are rooted in compassion and understanding, so you can expect a safe and nurturing environment as you embark on your journey to personal transformation.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy, sometimes called hypnotic suggestion, is like unlocking a hidden superpower within your mind!  It's a form of therapy that uses guided hypnosis to help you reach a state of deep relaxation and focused attention.  Think of it as a mental spa, where you let go of everyday distractions and become more open to positive suggestion.

During hypnosis you enter a trance-like state similar to being deeply absorbed in a book or a film.  You're fully aware and in control, but your mind is open to positive suggestions and imagery.

Therapy is a safe and friendly space where you can talk about what’s on your mind. It can help you understand your feelings, find ways to cope with challenges, and feel more confident in yourself.

Hypnotherapy for young people runs slightly differently from adult sessions.  Using an active, focused approach and child-friendly language to create a space where they feel comfortable to relax and explore their feelings at their own pace.  Sessions are tailored for each child depending on their age and their individuality.  This may involve using stories and their favourite characters or superheroes, or more traditional techniques if that suits them.  Working alongside the parent/carer to support the child at all times.  Sessions are always child-focused, helping them to develop new skills and strategies for growth, which they can use long into the future.
